Fresh horse manure from the nursery's resident horse. Made up mainly of manure mixed with some straw. This is a perfect and very natural way to improve your soils and compost. This manure is fresh, so please make sure to dig it into existing soil/compost thoroughly and not use too much per metre. 

 

A bag contains a rough amount of manure, but a decent size as you can see from the photos.

Good sized bags

Good sized bags that were promptly delivered and are now waiting at the bottom of my garden to be used. I'll need to keep them to 'rot down' for several months at least but they were much better value than the ready to use versions from garden centres.

No problems......

As described on the website and has now been transferred into a "1 tonne" bag to rot down further so it can be used next year. Might be ordering more at some point to keep the pile going but have purchased this as an alternative to my usual RTU compost as my old supplier has ceased trading. The delivery driver Vincent was polite & efficient, leaving the bags where requested.
