Primroses make beautiful additions to any border or planter. Primroses grow no more than 10cm high and can flower from December through to May.
In Irish folklore, primroses in the doorway protected the home from fairies.
Primroses like moist soil best, with shade when the sun gets warm in late spring. The drier the climate, the more they need shade and heavy soil that will hold moisture. They can be perennials that will last for a number of years and continue to return year upon year bringing joy to your garden.

Great plants

The polyanthus plants are really great - a good size, really healthy and with lots of buds on every plant

Winter Sunshine

Very healthy plants that bring amazing colour to the Winter garden. I have purchased them for a few years now and they never fail to make me smile.

Colour explosion

So happy with my choice of the Ringo Star tray which I've used in my garden pots and on my front window sil. I've had lots of compliments from neighbours.

Sadly they did get a bit battered by the frost but they are slowly perking up again and will be back to being bright again.

I bought a mixed tray of 18 plants, these are gorgeous, I haven't planted them out yet as we are tarting the garden up a bit , they survived the snow , I have been de-heading them and they are still full of buds coming on, very strong and sturdy plants
